Fan boys and fan girls can rejoice around the world as Joss Whedon has been confirmed to write and direct "The Avengers 2"!
As being a fan girl myself I am very excited to hear this. To me, the best superhero movie of the summer (2012) was "The Avengers". It was hard to pick between "The Avengers" and "The Amazing Spider-man" for me, but ultimately Avengers was much better for multiple reasons.
"The Avengers" was witty, action packed, and overall just extremely fun to watch (not to mention it was awesome seeing a lot of my favorite heros work together on the big screen). As I said in my review (feel free to go back and watch!) Joss Whedon really knows who each character is and therefore knows how to write them correctly and interact with each other. The way he also filmed the movie was incredible, especially for the last 45 minutes of the movie which just had some of the best action scenes and great stunts. With all of this, I really can't wait to see what Whedon gives us for "The Avengers 2". I have faith that he will just make everything even bigger and better; apparently he already has ideas about how to make "The Avengers 2" more personal.
With "Iron Man 3" being released May 3, 2013, then "Thor: The Dark World" on November 8, 2013, then "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" on April 4, 2014, possibly having another "The Incredible Hulk" movie or television series, and ending with "Guardians of the Galaxy" (SPOILER! Why Thanos was shown at the mid-credits of The Avengers!) on August 1, 2014, it's being guess-timated that "The Avengers 2" will likely be released in the summer of 2015.

What are your thoughts? Are you excited as I am to see Joss Whedon will be back for Avengers 2, or we're you hoping to see a different director for it?

Trailer Talk--"This Is 40"
So remember way back in the year 2007 when writer/director Judd Apatow gave us the movie "Knocked up"? Well he's back and has created a sort of sequel to "knocked up", but it's more of just a spin-off.
"This Is 40" follows the lives of Alison Scott's (Katherine Heigl) sister Debbie, played by Leslie Mann, and her brother-in-law Pete, played by Paul Rudd. The movie apparently takes place a few years after the event that happened in "Knocked up", and just shows how Debbie and Pete try to survive through life dealing with getting older, keeping their family together, and not trying to kill each other (literally).
"This Is 40" is owned by Universal Pictures
To me, this movie looks like it will be really funny, but I also just usually like Judd Apatow's movies. I love both Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd. I think they are talented, funny actors who know what they are doing and just always have great line delivery. I, personally, think this movie will do fine in theaters, but then again we're just going to have to wait and see.
What do you think? Do you think this movie looks hilarious and can't wait to see it, or are you sick of watching these type of comedies?

Movie News--More Hawkeye and Possible Movie? Really?
As much as I do like Jeremy Renner, I don't think there are enough "Hawkeye" fans in the world to care if he was in more Marvel movies or even have a Hawkeye movie. Sure it's fine if he shows up for a couple scenes or so, but I don't think a full on movie is a great idea. Marvel would lose to much money in my opinion.
What are you thoughts?

Movie News--The Incredible Hulk TV Series?
Do you think it's a good idea to have a new "The Incredible Hulk" television series?
I, personally, think it would be a great thing to do, especially if they are not going to do a second movie for the Hulk, as long as they can get a good writer for it. It would also be great if they could get Mark Ruffalo (the man who replaced Edward Norton to play Dr. Bruce Banner/the Hulk for "The Avengers") to play Bruce Banner because I think he is the best "Hulk" to date. Whether this would actually happen though, I think it's a pretty low chance. No matter what though, as long as they have good writers and a great cast, I think the show would be great.

Trailer Talk--"Paranormal Activity 4"
Hey Everyone! So I will be posting new trailers that are coming out soon on here and giving some thoughts on what I think of it. I will probably put these out the same day the trailer comes out as I'm sure many of you would like to know what's going to be coming to theaters.
So is anyone else getting sick of these movies or do you still love them?
Hopefully this "Paranormal Activity" gives us more answers instead of questions, but I'm not sure how you tie up loose ends by introducing even more characters. I really wonder if they're just going to make Hunter (the baby from the second movie and the kid I am assuming is standing outside the window near the end) just becomes the new demon for the movies, or just keep it the same as it has been. I don't think there is going to be anything really new to this movie from the previous ones. The trailer makes the movie almost looks like the same set up as the second "Paranormal Activity" (where the family moves in and puts up security cameras around the house) so nothing new there. Maybe this will actually be the last movie though and things will finally be answered, but from the looks of the trailer, it still just looks like the standard "Paranormal Activity" movie.
