Movie News--Guillermo del Toro to Direct future Marvel Studios Feature Film? Awesome!

I hope this is real. I really really hope this is real.

As we all know Guillermo del Toro is no stranger to comic book movies. He directed "Blade II" back in 2002, which eventually led him to direct the movie "Hellboy" in 2004. Although comics have been a big part of his career, del Toro takes more interest in monsters and horror which usually provide motivation behind his project selections.

Guillermo del Toro is fantastic at what he does as a movie director and creating monsters (if you don't believe me watch his film Pan's Labyrinth. I don't only recommend it as one of my favorite movies, but it really shows his talents, especially in creating monsters). Del Toro is supposedly going to help work on the rumored live action "Hulk" series, and there might also be a "Hellboy 3" in the future as well. At one time he was suppose to work on the movie "Thor" and the next upcoming X-Men movie "The Wolverine". He no longer is going to since there aren't enough "monsters" to work with in "The Wolverine" and he obviously never worked on "Thor" (I, personally, would of loved to of seen what he would of done with Asgard especially since he loves mythology). But even though he has past on those, will he maybe take on the possible "Dr. Strange" movie if the script ever gets green lighted?

For del Toro to work with Marvel to make another film, he of course finds things interesting and not interesting to comic book properties (I'll put a link below saying what those are). As I said before his interest is more in monsters so if he is going to work on another Marvel movie, it definitely needs to have a lot of that in it. Fortunately for del Toro, even though he's not going to be working on it, there are going to be plenty of monsters in their upcoming film "Guardians of the Galaxy". Although del Toro will probably not work on it (even though if he gets the chance he probably should), it shows that Marvel studios probably won't shy away from his ideas. And as stated before, if Marvel wants to green light the "Dr. Strange" movie, del Toro will probably be the best pick especially since he followed the comic as a kid. Through multiple interviews, he almost hints at wanting to work with Marvel on films such as "The Inhumans", "Strange Tales" (Dr. Strange's introduction), and "Black Panther" (This would be awesome for me since I've been DYING to see a Black Panther movie). So would del Toro take on any of these projects, or does he just have to much going on at the moment? Only time will tell.

So what are your thoughts? Would you love to see Guillermo del Toro take on a Marvel movie?
